About Us
Candy Mountain Fudge has been the signature product of The Candy Crate of Red River, New Mexico since 1990. The Candy Crate started as a family owned business by the Arnolds, that involved three generations of family in the operation and manufacturing processes. In August of 2021, we (Angela and Wes) purchased The Candy Crate and look forward to continuing the valued traditions that have been in place for decades.
Made at an altitude of 8,750 feet above sea level, our cream and butter based Candy Mountain Fudge has put smiles on the faces of thousands of customers over the years. We think the high altitude adds a little something to the recipes! Over forty varities of fudge and a wonderful selection of seasonal fudges are available in our store.
In additon to Candy Mountain Fudge, The Candy Crate features vintage, retro and hard to find candies, snacks and beverages, fine chocolates, gourmet items, New Mexico coffees, foods & art, puzzles, games and a large gift store.
The Candy Crate is a great source for thank you, corporate and client appreciation gifts, as well as favors for birthday parties and weddings.
